The Distance Education Vocational School began its educational activities in the 2008-2009 academic year with two associate degree programs based on Information and Communication Technologies within the framework of Süleyman Demirel University. With the enactment of Law No. 7141 on May 18, 2018, published in Official Gazette No. 30425, which amends the Higher Education Law and certain other laws and decrees, Isparta University of Applied Sciences was established and continues its educational activities there. The Distance Education Vocational School enriches the course contents of its associate degree programs with educational materials such as text, animation, and audio, and provides these to enrolled students via the Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS is accessible to students 24/7. Through the LMS, students can easily track course contents and other materials related to their courses. Additionally, course advisors can interact with students individually and manage assignments, discussions, chats, and exams through the system. Course contents are prepared over a 14-week period, and all courses are available to students throughout the term. Examinations are conducted face-to-face on the university campus. Monitoring and evaluation criteria, including students' assignment submissions, participation in discussions, tracking of course content, and chat sessions, are managed by course advisors as part of the student assessment process.
