The aim of our program is to train qualified professionals who possess the fundamental vocational knowledge and background required by businesses operating in the pharmaceutical industry and who are capable of introducing pharmaceutical products to physicians and facilitating their delivery to healthcare professionals.
Professionals working in areas such as promotion, sales, and marketing within the healthcare sector are commonly referred to as “Medical Representatives.”
The healthcare industry, including the pharmaceutical, medical device, and cosmetics sectors, is a rapidly growing and promising field. Along with the significant and rapid development of this industry, the demand for qualified and specialised professionals has also increased.
Although medical representatives are primarily responsible for promoting pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products, they are also expected to remain up to date with current information and perform their duties in an evidence-based, transparent, and ethical manner. Another important responsibility of medical representatives is to provide the most accurate and reliable information about the products they promote. The most effective way to achieve this is through appropriate and high-quality education delivered by professional instructors.
Students who complete the Medical Promotion and Marketing Program have the opportunity to develop their professional knowledge systematically with the support of qualified instructors in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and cosmetics, rather than relying on trial and error or a traditional master–apprentice relationship.
The program is distinguished as an innovative and pioneering educational model that provides students with remote access to professional education without causing unnecessary loss of time or workforce productivity.
It is reported that approximately 15,000 to 20,000 medical representatives are currently employed in the pharmaceutical market. Considering that pharmaceutical companies have traditionally recruited personnel from other occupational groups, graduates of the Medical Promotion and Marketing Program are expected to have strong employment prospects.
